901 Southern Avenue. Until early 2008, this was one of the best-looking stones. Then an out-of-control car broke the stone in half at ground level and destroyed the protective fence. During 2012 through 2014, the above-ground portion of the stone was stored in the D.C. Office of the Surveyor for safekeeping. The stone and a protective fence are again in place.
